Dr. Magan Patel graduated in M.S. in Opthalmology from M. P. Shah Medical College in the year 1995. He has mastered Extra Capsular Cataract Surgery and performed innumerable surgeries through this technique from 1992 till today. In November 2001 he went for further training to Dr. P. N. Nagpal in post segment surgeries. In April 2002 he had been to Australia for training under guidance of Dr. Michael in Phacoemulsification technique in cataract with intraocular implant surgery. In August 2003 he also went to Israel for further training in Phocoemul - Sification under A/c maintainer from Prof. Michael Blumenthal.

He also achieved trainings in small incision non-phaco, cataract surgery from Dr. Globensi of Israel and latest technique of sutured fixated intraocular lens implants.

He attended many ESCRS conferences in Germany, London, France, Swedon
In 2008 April he want to Hong kong for world ophthalmology congress.

what is multifocal lens

After cataract surgery with monofocal lense we can see only distance object clear but we need help of glasses for near object.
